I took this photo last night by accident, and almost deleted it when I saw it on the tiny LCD screen. But I decided I rather like it.

Isn’t it nice to know fashion people have a sense of humour?

Lucha libre masks I spotted in a flea market near a casting last Saturday.

Yes, it is.

Isn’t it funny how sometimes the best photos are accidental? I’d love to know what trick of motion rendered Ms. Aoki’s face fairly clear while the rest of the photo is motion-blurred. Good pic.

It was a total accident. I opened the flash expecting a quick photo, but some weird scene mode with a super-long shutter speed was still on. Super-long shutter speed scene mode trumped flash, and Devon was handily standing still while her brother deejayed. (He’s the blur on the right.)

Holy Fuckin Hell! I worked in that showroom. The owner is a cocaine snuffing douchbag of epic proportions!! And I fucking ordered that sign on the glass you took a photo of. I was probably working inside when you took it. Trust me, if you ever come to the Cooper building again, avoid this place like the plague. I’d expand, but only in email. I worked here my first two years in L.A. and I’m still wiping the scum off my skin. It definitely did not make a good impression, I found that Angelenos – especially those working in fashion on the showroom level – can be the most vile people on the planet, if not only for their massive egos and whore-ish tendencies. Damn.

WESC did a collection in conjuction with Devon Aoki’s brother, a popular DJ; a clothing company that was repped by the showroom I loathe.
